These images are from two very small 6 x 8.5 cm paper prints with corresponding negatives which were recently acquired by the archive. The date is given as 1950 and is written on the back of one of the negatives. The location is unknown.
A few scratches have been removed from the negative scans. The focusing on these images was very bad and the subjects were out of focus. This has likely happened due to the subject being below the camera’s minimum focussing distance. I have sharpened the images slightly to try and make them appear as the photographer envisioned them as well as hopefully preserving their character.
