A set of negatives containing images of a family gathering for a 2nd birthday. The lucky little girl, called “Gill”, looks very happy with her new clown toy, tricycle and a very impressive new doll’s house.
The negative sleeve states “Crawley” and the street sign for “Hudson Road” can be seen in the image of “the “Ray’s Car”. The negative sleeve also identifies “115 Hawkins Road“. These houses were newly constructed by “Taylor Woodrow Homes”. This set was with 10 other sets of negatives dating from 1956 to 1959. The photos were likely taken in that date range. I have added Google Street View links to the street names above to show the location as it is today.
