An approximate date can be determined. The film, which these images were taken on, was discontinued in 1976. The BSA motorcycle’s first registration date is 1971. Therefore, the images must have been taken between 1971 and 1976.
The UK Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) vehicle enquiry service states that the BSA motorcycle is still in use today and gives the colour as “blue”.
According to the DVLA, the Volkswagen Beetle Buggy was first registered in 1963 and that its last road tax was due in January 1986 – suggesting it is no longer on the road. The DVLA advise that it’s colour is “Red”
